Osprey? This is going way over my head.. spray -> RAID .. what can an Osprey (a sea-going hawk??) have anything to do with a graphics card??

Snatch Matrox from the sea?? Its a bird of prey so it is going to sneak attack on Ati/Nvidia?

Maybe Haig made up some nonsense to keep himself amused with the resulting speculation.

When I get bugs in the summer, I spray them with RAID.
If I was going to do video capture, I'd want a good RAID array.
If it was a crappy capture card, it might require a decent RAID setup.....

If I have the money and can resell my Parhelia at profit or at least 0 loss and if P8X is a significant step up, yes.

If they have decent linux drivers for it, yes.

I second K6-III. Come on Matrox, let's see the old attitude you had with the G200/G400. <slowly backs away from the soapbox....>

FAA still makes me salivate thinking about it....

im trying to get one from the states at present, its going to be around $350 shipped, or around £200, i think i could sell my old P256 for at least £250 which would make it worth doing if there was a core bump and memory controller tweak. Am waiting to see if this company will play ball with me on international shipping.
The link is down at the moment but go to www.pricewatch.com and search for parhelia and its currently 347 dollars shipped, just check the product number to be sure.
is a flower best picked in it's prime or greater withered away by time?

You could always eBay your P, buy the P8X, and still come out on top. eBayers are like that=P
