Haig, my 2nd DVI port might have busted. I really hope not since I don't want to have to go through an RMA, but if it is and I have to, might I get a P8x back?

You are correct, the cool name for PCI-Express out in the streets is PCI-X, or X vs. AGP

Yes, the PCI-sig really showed poor thinking and imagination when they termed one technology PCI-X and another, almost entirely unrelated technology PCI-Express.

Must be the same mor*ns calling the Celeron a Pentium II (or III or IV) 128K cache...

PCI-X has been out long enough not to be confused with PCI-E.

It was pretty dumb of the consortium to call it PCI-Express.

I'll get one as soon as I can. I really need to replace my G400max. I don't know exactly when but that might be in a couple of month...

I think I'll buy it in 2-3 weeks. I just need all this extra performance for Surround Gaming!

When I get the new card, I'll start looking for all options for getting rid of my old Parhelia card.

I'd recommend Ebay as the parhelia cards are selling for not far off retail in some cases.

Even though I feel compelled to buy one, I won't. I don't play many games but as it is, it will be worse than my current card so... just hope they come up with something halfway decent in the future.
When I was still a kid, my parents got me a Packard Bell. I've never been happier. Now it's degraded to a foot support.

Not in the US or UK atm so ebay is not an option, plus I hate ebay with a passion. This means I'll need to do some persuasive talking. That being said I might just buy one in a month or so and try to sell this one afterwards or even keep it for one of the POSes at home (This so I can stop my brothers from using my machine to play UT2003/4)
