X-Bit Labs comment on Matrox

I don't know if anyone have seen this from X-Bit Labs .

In April we heard some news from…Matrox! It announced three new products, but all three are multi-monitor solutions for specific market niches like systems for watching satellite snapshots. There’s no mentioning new chips and it seems like Matrox didn’t want to get back to the market with the Parhelia either. They just made the graphics core a bit stronger for using on these exactly niche graphics cards of their own manufacture.

But I still want to get my hands on the new Parhelia 8X with the new core, if I just could afford it.

I'm guessing that now is the time for eBaying your old P, while the rest of the world isn't so aware of the P8X.

I only own a petty P650 now, so that is not an option. I have to wait and see if I can afford it this autumn. ;-)
