I used to be perfectly happy to 70Hz on my 14" KFC @ 1024x768. When I moved to 21" HP, I found that nothing suited for me at first. It took few days to get used to higher refresh rates. (and yep, I did have headaches on having 120Hz @ 1280x960 during those few first days...)

(*nappe very weakly remembers that US civil war and Initials K.F.C. might have something to do with each other... )

thank god, not anymore, afaik. KFC's were loysiest monitors ever seen in earth. They were also cheapest, so a way too many unfortunate users got a one.

here in finland, there was a phrase few years ago: "did you buy a monitor or were you happy with just KFC instead?", which pretty much tells about KFC's quality... erm.. or more like lack of it.

Nope, not at all. KFC is Kentucky Fried Chicken, a large food chain here.
Gigabyte P35-DS3L with a Q6600, 2GB Kingston HyperX (after *3* bad pairs of Crucial Ballistix 1066), Galaxy 8800GT 512MB, SB X-Fi, some drives, and a Dell 2005fpw. Running WinXP.

I think he was referring to the Colonel of KFC, which of course looks like he is old enough to have lived during the Civil War.

Actually, if any of you know how Zecharia Sitchin is (he's a researcher who is kind of like Erich von Daniken (who incidentally is pretty famous for his Ancient Astronaut theories.)... well, he LOOKS a lot like Colonel Sanders....

            Wah! Wah!

In a perfect world... spammers would get caught, go to jail, and share a cell with many men who have enlarged their penises, taken Viagra and are looking for a new relationship.
