The boards supporting dual PCI Express have a 16x slot and a 4x slot (with a 16x connector).

Nvidia has a dual PCI-E x16 chipset coming for AMD -although I think they're actually 2* x8 lines with x16 slots.

It's PCI-X and seems to have two chips on it, but other than that I don't know and it was put under a news post about new matrox drivers.
