My mistake ( actually my dad , cause he said it was a 128 but its a 32 i presume) , but i already fixed it ,
I tried a thousand resolutions and i found the right one...
thx anyway folks
Pentium 4 3.2Ghz , Asus p4p800 Deluxe , matrox G550 128mb , Loewe Xelos media , 200Gb Maxtor
Not on this TV
it had something to do with the hertz , the people of loewe said it only worked on 800x600@90hz
"multimediaTV" they call it
My crappy tomson can even handle 1024x786
it is good enough for a VGA connection, but obviously you are crippling your possibilities and the capabilities of your G550.
try this:
- hookup your VGA Monitor via that DVI-2-VGA dongle from Matrox
- hookup your VGA-2-TV connector to that VGA plug on the G550
- connect your TV using either composite or s-video cables
Then you can use any resolution for feeding your TV.
Despite my nickname causing confusion, I am not female ...
BENQ DV3070 + ATi Radeon 9500 ... it sucks!
Cannot find a way to reach 1280x768 native resolution with ATi driver because the DDC2 reports 1024x768 75Hz...
BENQ DV3070 + G550 DVI ... Perfect !
Just need to Override the DDC2 information and set the monitor spec to run at 1280x768 56Hz ...
