Does the Matrox p750 out run the old G400 Max, or does it have the disadvantage of the smaller memmory bus that they also crippled the G550 with?

Matrox has a product compairison going back to G450, so you should get some idea of the difference:

A P750 should nicely outrun a G400Max (I would be very disappointed otherwise), plus it has the advantage of shaders, anti-aliasing, and so on.
But if you're concerned about that, you should probably be looking at another card anyway - the P750 isn't exactly a gamer's wet dream.Blah blah blah nick blah blah confusion, blah blah blah blah frog.Comment

For what purpose are you looking at? As IMHO G400series still has a better TV-Out, but for gaming i guess P750 is better..Life is a bed of roses. Everyone else sees the roses, you are the one being gored by the thorns.
