G400 and 3DMark 2001

    G400 should be very table at AGP 2X speed even with VIA chipsets. BTW, mine is a '4A' version which works flawlessly at AGP 4X on Intel chipsets. It used to be in VIA chipsets and no problem. G200 is the one that is very picky at AGP 2X and above.

    Do you overclock anything at all?

    If you got your G400 off eBay or similiar means, could it be overclocked by the previous owner through PINS?

      neither of my G400s would run stable at 2x AGP on my Asus TUSL2 boards. Might be a problem with the motherboard design though.

        Viachipsets are pooh you're lucky if anything runs properly out of the box without any tweaking. Hats off to George B.
