You are the great magician, Kruzin!
Or maybe it's just Matrox Graphics, with some serious information leak...

hmm that's nice, and I hope Kruzin made some bets on that... now is there a possibility of a triple dvi parhelia?

They've already got the QID with quad DVI...

            Kruzin,

I think you should update your user profile with the new website (www.murc.ws)

Yeah, but that won't show up as one video device, I don't think?

Yes the QID is a possibility, except there is no 3D acceleration on that card, I would need the pro version which is twice the price and beyond my budget... I would rather have a normal parhelia and use the d-sub connection for one of the three tfts, or even keep one crt although it would be hard to line up the screens for a proper stretched mode.

So I don't think I'll go down that road. I do think there is a potential hole in Matrox's lineup for accelerated dvi triplehead, which shouldn't require that QID card.

Maybe I could have done, but the money I have coming in from a big web project has just been earmarked by my wife for a holiday to New Zealand for our 5th anniversary, hehe!

Since M's after the Apple market, they might as well try the Linux one a bit better. It's just gotten bigger than Apple's...or is it that they think Linux users won't buy the P as they are just cheap bast*ards?

No, they probably think Linux users won't buy the P-series since they've been treated like crap for the last 3 years.

I want a triple dvi parhelia. I have from the start. The problem is that DVI is too big to fit three on a single backplane.

but now we have a thing called mini-DVI on laptops, and HDMI also seems smaller than DVI.

Go on matrox give it to me.

                        At least 5 years.

Current Matrox seems to go to easier job.
I think Matrox provides only minor version up graphic card which based Parhelia now.

                          For example...
                          Parhelia 8X
                          Parhelia APVe
                          Parhelia HR256
                          Parhelia DL256
                          Parhelia Precision SGT
                          Parhelia PCI

All of them are derived from Parhelia-512.
And Parhelia is one of 2002 year VGA.
More than two years passed since that.

I hope Matrox have a plan to design new GPU...

                              Kuriton,

The picture of the parhelia in your sig has a chip on top of the card between the two ram chips.

                              What is it?
