Matrox Meteor

Question: is it any good nowadays? (I'd probably attach some cheap analogue camera to it and use it as high quality webcam ) Can it be used with win2k (and up) & linux 2.6? (I did some search...no mention of drivers for them)

PS. Eventually I'll just get it for some kind of collection
Let's see...I have already mill2, G100, 2xG200 PCI, G400 & G450 PCI...hmm, it's becoming dangerous

I think it will only work in Win95 / WinNT 4.0, because it was already discontinued product back in year 2000.

Meteor-II should work nicely, but it's still quite expensive for a webcam use, I'd say...
