Slipstreamed CD is OK, as long as you only have one monitor connected to primary head of Parhelia during install. If you connect 2 monitors the Matrox drivers present onslipstreamed CD will bork things.

well...they definitly screwed up the mmc and also my windows media player...it will play video ok but when i close it, i get a "Media Event Sink Window: wmplayer.exe - Application Error" dialog at the same instruction point "0x7c9105f8" and memory at "0x008a0010"
...1 fresh install coming up !!!

As you are using a slipstreamed CD, chances are you'll see the same problem when the system boots for the first time. The workaround is to boot into safe mode, and install the drivers there (read the thread I linked to).
