New drivers available for Parhelia/Millennium Pxxx cards

Slipstreamed CD is OK, as long as you only have one monitor connected to primary head of Parhelia during install. If you connect 2 monitors the Matrox drivers present onslipstreamed CD will bork things.

well...they definitly screwed up the mmc and also my windows media player...it will play video ok but when i close it, i get a "Media Event Sink Window: wmplayer.exe - Application Error" dialog at the same instruction point "0x7c9105f8" and memory at "0x008a0010"

...1 fresh install coming up !!!

I had problems applying SP2 when there was no Matrox driver installed (screen just blanked).

As you are using a slipstreamed CD, chances are you'll see the same problem when the system boots for the first time. The workaround is to boot into safe mode, and install the drivers there (read the thread I linked to).

This has simpler solution - disconnect secondary cable from parhelia card, it will run fine with single monitor, then install drivers and then re-connect your cable. No need to go to safe mode (anyway some people may have windows xp with integrated sp2 and then this is the only solution to the problem).
