Hi there, i posted this question on the Matrox support forum.. but that seems pretty much dead. So i thought i'd ask you guys.
I tried updating to the new bios (setup_258.exe) on my g550. I booted the pc using a win98 dos bootdisk and then ran the updbios.exe. (because i remember reading somewhere on the Matrox site not to use the winbiosupdate tool with the newer bios releases?).
At first the updating seemed fine, then all of a sudden my card started bleeping very loudly and the screen just went blank. After resetting everything was just fine (besides me having a heart attach
