    The core of the parhelia will be the what kind of shape?

    It is like this shape!







    12 millimeters in width and 15 millimeters in length.
    The size of the core is 180 square millimeters.

    For this image the Parhelia DL256 was sacrificed...

            That card should still work as long as there is no other damage, in fact you should get better cooling if you mount the heatsink carefully

              I did that to my Beta Boy P. It won't hurt it unless you manage to chip the Die.
              I took mine off and put a good Copper Heatsink on it.
