Hello. I'm apologize if there exist information already in the forum which i would ask:
I'm using Radeon IGP 9100 for playing MPEG-2 720x567 (DVB-T). I've RGB-SCART cable and picture is quite well. But the problem is that with linux there is no support to playing interlaced video, it is always deinterlaced and vertical sync does not work too. Direct framebuffer does not work with radeons etc.etc. In windows xp, screen is tearing sometimes.
So, i'm looking for well supported cards and i can buy matrox G450 and i need your recommendations to my need:
Can G450 PCI dualhead do this?:
- RGB - SCART cable with composite sync (is this schema correct? http://mitglied.lycos.de/Gandalf_Grau/g450scart.gif)
- Vertical sync and interlaced "passthrough" mpeg-2 to VGA-RGB
- 720x567 interlaced resolution (europe PAL)
- Intel P4 celeron 256KB L2 2,26Ghz 533FSB is enough to play DVB-T? (Pundit-R)
Any negatives with G450 for TV RGB SCART use?
any advice welcome!
