Not the G400 I'v got. Most likley needs a mod as one of the other threads suggested..

That's exactly why I posted the link! The G400 you've got handles 1.5v just fine. There's a problem with it being detected properly by some (but not all) motherboards (for example: my Intel 875 motherboard detects the first gen. G400 as 1.5v capable just fine).

If you performed that mod (takes about 1 minute to perform), your motherboard would have detected it properly, and you needn't have spend any money on the G450 which is many regards is inferior to the G400.
