Can't get 32bit in Q3test no matter what!!!

Help! I cannot get 32bit coulor depth no matter what I do. I can make everything else work (nice!!) but no 32bit colour depth!! If I try default with desktop at 32bit, or if I try to switch to 32bit in the game, I get a left/right split screen with the left side close to what the whole screen should be, but with a pink background. The right side has flashing black/white. Both in game or in the menus. Help. I wanna see this 32bit that everyone is talking about!
Also, how do I do benchmarking on Q3?

cg_drawfps 1 will draw the fps as you play set it back to 0 to stop drawing them and to benchmark open console and type following

disconnect
timedemo 1
map q3demo1 (or q3demo 2)

and then wait for it to finish and pull down console again to see score

i've not tried 32 bit because my fps will die as i'm using a g200 and they are just ok as it is : ) but have u got desktop in 32 bit that might have something to do with it (complete guess btw)

Hello,

To get it to run in 32 bit...change it in the options(16 bit to 32 bit)...and once the screen splits into half and pink colors...just exit Q3...then restart it back up. It will be in 32 bit now. This was fixed on the 5.21 drivers but if you are using the Beta ICD..then it still remains...i also still get the random icon movements when i exit a game. Hope this helps....(this is the 2nd time ive answered this same question).

Thanx! I'll try that. I am using the 5.25 and latest icd. I also tryed it with the Glsetup ones.
