I noticed on that page it says "DX7 Final Download?" with a question mark. Are you sure it's final?

Alta Vista Translation from that page:

"Finally? Yes! Released? Good question, but that will occur within the next time with security. When exact, which we cannot say to you unfortunately with 100%iger certainty. At present Download possible, there we unfortunately still on clarifying the legal situation do not wait!! We ask for your understanding... "

I don't see a link for the download anyway. It's not in the download section of the page.

I keep reading about this Direct X 7 being available. Seems to be available only on everyones site except Microsoft's. Considering the problems that MS products have when they're released directly from the big boys, would you really want to put something in your system that someone else says is legit?
        Hey, it's your crash landing.
        My 2 cents.

I certainly agree with the Prophet, but if you're the adventurous type, you can download the final 7.0 beta at:
          http://www.nethn.com/download/Dx7core.exe

Note it's just the core, but that's all you really need. I've been using this version for awhile with my g200 millennium without a single problem in any of the games I typically play. If you're looking for a significant performance boost, I can't notice any. DX Setup shows all is fine.

          Good luck.

Its the final, this site is 100% relieable...

They have taken the download down because Microsoft still has not offically released it.

No, no, no. You can uninstall Dx. Either you do it the hard way - manually (go to Dxdiag, write down all the names of all Dx files; then go to DOS and delete all of them - restart windows (it will freak out a bit) and install the Dx version you want and all will be ok - or you do it the easy way : http://www.reactorcritical.com/files...tX/DxUn10t.exe

That´s a Dx uninstaller. I never used it and don´t even know if it works with Dx7, but hey, I´ve installed Dx7 and all is working OK and system performance went up (specially Unreal, that one impressed me).
