"I know many people were frustrated having to wait an extra day for the demo after we first handed it off to them but 3DFX sponsoring this demo is really what made it happen in the first place. Our original plan was to release the demo after we went gold and the game was in manufacturing. Even non-3DFX users owe 3DFX some praise. This demo happened now, and the all-API demo next week, because 3DFX wanted to do something nice for their customers."
