Can you raise the video gamma in QuakeII?

Yeah, it's in the video options, a slider going under the name of 'screen brightness'

The slider Steve mentioned is also accessible from the console ... 'vid_gamma'

You culd also try "gl_gamma" or "gl_ext_gamma", but I'm not sure if they work ...
