when i play glquake i get the rainbow effect is there any help?

You're kidding, right? Please tell me you're kidding... I _can't_ have spent so long banging my head against a wall, reinstalling drivers, crashing and rebooting my system for something so simple...!!

Doh! That's the Quake2 fix (although I didn't have the problem - IIRC it already had Palettised Textures turned off). Found turning gl_flashblend on helped, and seeing another post in this forum has confirmed that that's half of the solution - the other half appears to be turning off r_dynamic. I hope this next bit works - I _really_ don't want to have to plug in my Voodoo again. :-/
