  • G400 and bus speed

I have a p2 400 o/c'ed to 448 by running the system bus speed to 112. Does this bus speed pose any problems for the G400? The agp bus is set to 2/3 of system bus. Everything seems to be working well with a few strange occurences of sync loss in the monitor. I am getting 4030 3d marks with this setup. Has anyone run Nascar 3 with the 5.25 drivers? If so any strange graphic problems?
    Thanks

the only real problems that occored to me while useing non standard bus speeds was unstable overclocking (you could barely overclock it), however, it ran great at default speed.

      Scout,
You mean overclocking the G400 wasn't stable? I am getting great framerates without overclocking the G400. Are there any long term effects on the card from running the system bus speed at 112mhz? The only problem I have is white flashes around the cars in Nascar 3. This doesn't occure with the PD version 5.11 that came on the CD with the card only the 5.20 and 5.25 versions.
