Cant Someone Help Out Here?

I was just wondering If there was anyone out there Playing Alien V Predator on Mplayer with a G400? I have the patch to play it in single player but I would like to play Multi on Mplayer. Is this possible? and if so how do I do it. because when I go to Mplayer it makes me download a new patch and it makes the g400 patch not work for multi apparently. So if there is a way to do it PLEASE let me know.
