Rainbow 6 question

Playing Rainbow 6 v1.03 with my G400 and 5.25 works fine. But when I install the Eagle Watch Mission Pack it updates Rainbow 6 to 1.05 and the game becomes unplayable. I get tearing when I turn corners. I emailed RedStorm and they told me to try a different sound/video combo. Has any one else encountered this problem?

same thing when doing the city street trainer. From looking out the window to the opposite building, I get a smudge type effect(is this what they call tearing?)
