It would let me do 1600x1200x16 and 1280x1024x32 but no higher. Hmmm....heaps of disc space, 256MB or ram, AGP aperture set to 256, 32MB of pounding ram on my video card.......oh....wait a minute.....
It took me a while to realize after getting the message "not enough video memory" that the dual head must split the 32MB of ram up or something. So I disabled dual head from the Matrox utility. Not from the Windows Display Settings tab.
I ususally just enable or disable the 2nd monitor form the Windows display properties box Settings tab (after enabling dual monitor form Matrox utility). Saves having to shutdown/restart.
Thought that might be of interest to someone sometime.
