Are there any known issues with G400 + Vortex2 based sound cards?

Like, I have a Diamond MX300 and I'm getting a G400 16MB SH soon and I just hope nothing will conflict. Thanks!

I just read over on the Hardware forum about a problem with the MX300 and Diamond drivers.

The MX300 would set the G400 on low IRQ and caused all sorts of problems. The solution was to use Aureal reference drivers. Other than this one case, I haven't heard about any problembs between G400s and Vortex2 cards.

I just picked up the Aureal Vortex 2 Super Quad due to a myraid of probs with my Creative Live Value...I have the Max, a K7 600 and U2W SCSI...and once I got the correct power supply (I should read the manuals...duh!!!) it is all running fine...I even (In my attempts to get the K7 running prior to getting the right ps) moved all my PCI cards around, and had no probs even with the Aureal Vortex 2 SQ on the Same IRQ as the Max...
