Irq conflict
My G400 is uses the same IRQ as 3 other cards. How do i do to give the G400 an own IRQ?
I use Win 98

You have to change it in the BIOS. You can usually get into the bios by hitting "Del" or "F2" when the computer starts up. Somewhere in there will be settings to assign IRQ's to the PCI and ISA slots. What you will probably have to do is assign IRQ's to the other 3 cards. Not many mobo's let you set the AGP slot IRQ.

at worst move the conflicting cards to other PCI slot to force teh system to reassign the IRQ's...Comment

Check if your system is full. That is, if there are any IRQ's left. I disable all shit i don't have to use (2nd com, USB) in Bios to get some more IRQ's free for other hardware.

Normally, your IDE controller should be on IRQ 14 or 15.
Disable "PNP OS" in your BIOS, and force every IRQ. Disabling useless ports should also prove useful (com2, USB...).
