  • Is it worth it to buy G400 if I'm only running it at 800by600?

I'm only going to run it at 800by600 in windows and in games mostly because my monitor really sucks. It goes up to 1024by768 but its only a 15" NEC MultiSync...it supports multiple frequencies and I think it only goes up to 60Hz.

So am I better off with a Voodoo 3 3000 since its going to be a lot faster in games in lower resolutions than the G400 ??

I know that the G400 is powerful in 32bit and big monitors and high resoultion...problem is I won't be running in 32bit, I won't be running above 800by600 and I don't have a big monitor.

Why? I'm poor and unemployed and I'm only 15 years old.

G400 will be good for ya. If ya got at least a 333 or better intel processor. I run 8x6 because I have an old monitor too, but it looks great and is fast too. V3 gives ya glide, but later you want to have the G400 for large textures and 32bit and such.
