I have an idea that will help those people that receive video games when they order a video card from Matrox and would prefer a different game. I was curious if people that, recieve a video game that comes with the software bundle they recieve with the card, might not want that game but may be interested with other software that is bundled with other card people order. In Other words, say I order a video card, say a G400/G200 that has a game bundle.
The game software may have features designed in for bump mapping. But, I decide I do not care for that particular game, but see that there is another game that comes bundled with another card, with the features made for my card, example bump mapping, 3D, and enhanced for Matrox video cards, or patched available for this purpose for those features. We then can exchange this information with other Matrox users that ordered a Matrox G400/G200 video card, and exchange the software/game software that was sold in the bundle for the matrox card and it's features for matrox cards. other software of course could be exchanged/sold/whatever, depending on the parties involved and the laws and agreements.
I hope I explained my idea clearly enough. On the Internet I did see a web site where people can sell, exchange software. of course this can be done in other ways, but here is a central point where Matrox users gather and share information. Ideas? comments? Would this require a new 'Forum' made and added to the server? I don't want to make Ant and others work any more than they do, and I do not want to create any legal hassles, as no one is making any money off of this idea, and the idea is not intended to make any legal problems. Thanx for your time gang.
