GPLegens and G400

My brother was on CeBit'99, just before G400 was launhed. He reported that he has seen 2 PC's, one with G200 and the other with G400, both running Grand Prix legends. They were running benchmarks and the G400 gave 2-3 times better values.
I can't firgure out how Matrox did it, cos GPLegends doesn't work with the drivers available. If someone knows people inside Matrox, could you ask about this ?

I too would like to be able to accelerate GPL. What about a G400 patch?

I would love to be able to play GPL again, since when I ditched my Voodoo card for a G400 Max I haven't been able to play this game at all
