The only problem is that the only site that has it is fileplanet. Which is INCREDIBLY MORONIC! They know what the demand for the demo is, I haven't a clue what they were thinking when they agreed to let fileplanet be the only site that carries it for the first couple of weeks. The download speed was horrendous. And I was using the T1 at my office. I had been hoping that it would be done by the time I was ready to go so I could burn it onto a CD. But noooooo..... Only fileplanet can have it. And so I was getting a pokey 15Kb per second. Which, while much faster than a dial up, still doesn't cut it when you're trying to download a 78mb file.

    Ok, I'll stop bitching now.
I think I'll go in to my office tommorow morning and burn it(I left it downloading and I don't feel like waiting until monday).

At this time it's mirrored all over the planet. Make sure you get the D3D patch too.

It's too pretty to skip on. Sorta like lessons in architecture and atmosphere. Good food for G400 owners. Now if only the UT engine allowed for bumpmapping...

WOT on G400 has an quite a few graphical problems. I have given up on any unreal engine based game ever looking correctly on the G400. Start a new game, watch the trees and stuff in the distance, and go look at the big rock you start out almost next to and the huge texture problem along the base. R0M says that it is because of Z-Buffer, but what I cannot understand is why the TNT2 doesnt exhibit the same problem in the exact same configuration. I am almost to believe it is a hardware flaw

Hey Rick, you are talking about the Wheel Of Time demo, right? (tree? rock?)

With the WoT demo + D3D patch, I only notice the same problem as with UT, where there's the flashing wall thingy in Turbine near the shield. WoT has it too at one or two locations. Is this what you mean? It's definitely an error, but it's not like I'm playing with an anal probe at hand, if you get what I mean...
