turbo gl and regular gl (if i uninstall t gl) keeps locking up my system.

hi guys maybe you could answer this one. i can play halflife in d3d all day no problems.
if i run it in open gl eitehr with the t gl or with out in 2 to 5 min the system hangs and my sound repetes. ihave tryed messing with the bios settings and i tryed deleteing all my config files nothing helps. any ideas?

my system has arived. all together and if i new about the usb bug in 98 with this board i would have been fiished a lot sooner.

msi 6167 mobo k7 500 256 meg ram ,addtronics case w 250watt sp power supply, matrox g400, maxtor diammax 2500+ 10gig hd,5x cldvd region free, 3com 10/100 nic and 56k ext modem, xitel p storm sound card. lots of controlers joystick throttle rudder raceing wheel, and 19in monitor, usb/ps2 logitech mouse

Well i don't know what's going wrong with your game but with your mouse i can help... there is nothing you can do, this is a recurent problem with MicroStar Mobos.. i just don't know why but the ps2 irq is not released free if the port is unused, and so it hangs badly windoze... i used to have this problem with a msi5169 with k6-2 300 and this happens now with the 6167... i tried to contact msi tech support unsuccesfully.. i think a bios update could solve it but for now....
