Are you using the Quake 3 Test version or the Quake 3 Arena Demo Test version?

For the Quake 3 Test version:<blockquote>Use the '`' key to drop down the command box. Type "timedemo 1" and press Enter. Then type "demo q3demo1" or "demo q3demo2" and press Enter to play the demos. Use the '`' key again to see the results after it's done.

For the Quake 3 Arena Demo Test version:<blockquote>Use the '`' key to drop down the command box. Type "timedemo 1" and press Enter. Press the '`' key again to make the box go away. Go into the "Demos" section and run either one. Again, use the '`' key to see the results after it's done.

    Hope that helps,
    Jon

        Of the two numbers generated,
do benchmarks use the lower one?
i guess they do but just checking cos some sites i have seen use an average or inbetween
ie in 1024x768 32bit everything on
        i get 23-57 in demo 1
