Greetings from the Desktop Video forum!
I am a novice at all things hardware-related, but something tells me that when DirectX goes full screen my graphics performance should be faster than in a window... BUT everything DirectX I run runs faster in a maximized window at 1280x1024 than it does in "fullscreen" at 640x480. What the hey?
I noticed this on my old P150 before I moved to my new PIII 550 MHz , but I'm still getting the problem.
Marvel G200-TV PCI 8MB untweaked
PD 5.30, DirectX 6 or 6.1
(Does it have something to do with the Microsoft HQL certification? 'Cuz DXDIAG reports two of my drivers are uncertified...)
Thanks,
fluggo99
