G200 & Monster II
Hi:
Have a P II 400, Win98 first edition, Asus P2B AGP MB bios revision 1002, 128mb RAM, DX 7, the G200 and a Monster II. I play Q2, Unreal Tournament, & Half Life. Had the setup for sometime now and every now and then when loading one of the above games...the PC would freeze. A simple ctrl-alt-Delete would reveal the game was not responding and ending the task would recover to the desktop. The game would then successfully restart on the second try. With UT the problem has gotten worse and wondered if anyone who still ran this video config knew of a fix. I have the latest monster II driver and the 4.51 matrox driver. Tried the 5 series matrox drivers but the display would boot black so went back to 4.51. Also am running in 16 bit at 800x600. Any help appreciated
