Well...
I did just that... run SETUP and 5.41 installed it self very nicely.
But Q3TD crashes even with its own IRQ.
My std desktop is 1024*768*16.
I get the blue console then a pale brownish screen then it falls back to the desktop in 640*480.
The std Q3TD doesn't have a "q3config" file so the fix in the other treads doesn't seam to work. Maybe I'm not putting it in the right dir. And if it cured things for you, what are thes line set to:
seta r_lastValidRenderer...
and
seta r_glDriver...
Geewhiz... I use to play Q2 in OpenGL with a Rendition 2100 in my old PC. All this cash for a new machine and 3 week of no Quake... I'm dying
