"Officially", the game won't be available until 12/5, but lots of stores have it now. I'd call ahead to your favorite software shop. Chances are, there won't be a lot left come Sunday...

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA back at ya. I just grabbed the last tin box at Software Etc. I had just driven by there an hour earlier and *almost* stopped in. Came home and saw you're post, made a call, a zoooooom. Good thing too because they started pouring in right after I bought it ... id shirts, and all. Software Etc said they got there's at 10h30 this morning and CompUSA got there's yesterday.

BTW, what's with the tin box. Same price ($49.99), just got a CD and manual. Why two products for the same price? Is this limited supply for first day of issue or what? Software Etc said they got half as many tin boxes as regular boxes.

I grabbed the last tin box in my Electronics Boutique. Went to CompUSA and Best Buy and they had none...

Was $45- they had it on their website for $40. www.ebworld.com (but I noticed they're no longer selling the tin box edition via the web...)

Eh, Eh, the tin man. We MURCers are baaaad. (Oops, that's right, I'm still a lowly MURCette ... where's my pom-poms).

Oops, I just noticed I've been promoted. The tin box really does instill super-powers.

Well personally I prefer UT sniping someone in the facing worlds map from the top of the tower at 1280 x 1024 16 bit with all the eye candy turned on high is da BOMB not to mention im getting 38fps in UT at that rez. I like quake 3 1.09 demo a little but at 1024 x 768 16 bit with medium textures im only getting 20.8 FPS which is barely playable, But i do not get any jerkyness or stutters.
