  • No Turbo GL

I can't find the Turbo GL option anywhere in my G400 drivers or PowerDesk installation. I think it might be something left in the registry from a previous install of drivers but have no idea what it might be. Here is the history of my computer:
    Origional G200
    Celeron 300a @ 450
Changed to G400 running with the Celeron and I knew I would not have Turbo Gl with it.
Changed motherboard to Asus P3B-F and processor to PIII-500
Used existing driver (5.30) when I installed the PIII.
Updated, today, to the 5.41 driver.
ALl this running under origional installation of Win 98.

Try running the Matrox Uninstall Utility.
    http://www.murc.ws/driver/Win9x/PD5/un_513.zip

    Then reinstall 5.41.

You can right click the quick desk icon in the system tray if you have it running. Then left click turbo gl manager.

Seems like uninstalling the 5.41 driver package and reinstalling it did the trick. I have the Turbo GL option on the Power Desk menu now and all is well.

        I just wasn't persistant enough.

        Thanks for the help.
