HalfLife Opposing Force crashes with G400DH

Have a K6/3-450 160MB RAM the newest Direktx and Matrox drivers.
When I play "HL Opposing Force" the game crashes without any comments !!!
It just switches back to Win98 Desktop and closes the game ... I must start HL new and after a few minutes the same thing.
My system is ok so far ..not to hot, no overclocking aso.

Help requested !!!

Try PD 5.30. I had also crashes with PD 5.41 until I downgraded back to PD 5.30.

I had the same shitty prob !!!!
Bevore I had a TNT Card .. i detectet that there where still some files from that thing in my win directory and some entrys in the registry .. i deleted them all ..cleaned the reg ..then i deletet all of the matrox files (dll,sys etc) ..cleaned the reg ..then i installed the g400 drivers new ... and it works fine.
But !!! ...Half life runs better with5.30 ..with the 5.41 i had some strange grafikerrors ...
I have a dream ...One day .. i see matrox slaves ..with working drivers...;o)))
