Unreal friday???

The patch is just over 3mb, easy stuff.

My problem is I knew the demo maps inside and out. I'm almost totally lost on all the new ones

You're probably in the same boat as most of us DarkSyd.I bought it wednesday,but haven't played for more than an hour yet,maybe checked out 2 maps,im going to rotate maps after 20team frags,just to keep it moving for us to all try.So far no moderators,so im just going to set up 2 teams,red for MURCETTES(yea!!), blue for murcers,if anyone else wants to join(come on Kruzin!)pick a team.Ill set it up for 16players,assault or team Deathmatch?or ctf?If no one cares too much ill start with assault.Also,if the teams are too unbalanced i'll check team balance.Any other suggestions are welcome since i havent had time to figure everything out yet.

Can't promise to be there at midnight, but I'll try. If you do go with assault, keep in mind that if the first assaulting team completes the objectives, the other team has only the amount of time taken by the first to complete them before losing the level. Also, most of the assault maps tend to be discouraging for newbies to the game, especially if they play against more experienced (at Assault) players, since the newbies don't usually know the objectives (to defend or assault), while the experienced guys go right to them.

CTF is a blast in UT, too.

Anyhow, I'll try to see you at 1 am my time, LOL. If not, maybe another night!

I think you're right ACE,Ill skip the assault until everyone has tried it first-ill stick to team deathmatch for this time,ill mix the maps up,give everyone an even keel.Ill leave the server open today,i'm off to work now-see you in about 11 hours......

Although team dm is fun, ctf is alot more fun, it gives the game a nice fun twist instead of just fragging. More strategy involved.

ok i got ut installed and messed around with it a little how do i find your server is it up yet??? i tryed manuley connecting to 24.56.149.81 was a no go for me maybe i didnot wait long enugh how long dose it take to connect. ? im at us eastern standard time.
