  • TurboGL needed for UT...

I don't have any games that support the TurboGL installer and therefore can't get my hangs on the opengl32.dll file.

Can someone plz e-mail me the turboGL opengl32.dll file to platinm@hotmail.com or tell me how to extract this file from wherever.

    Thanks

Uhhh....like you said, you don't have any games that support TurboGL. That includes UT. TGL will not work with UT.
Run the game in D3D mode.

Ya but I read is some post about people getting it to work with turboGL.

Hell we all know that the game's opengl is crap and is a glide game but I just wanted to try it out and so I would like someone to send me this file.

So if anyone out there is kind enough to send me this file, I would really appreciate it.

        You already have it.
It's in the driver install directory.
depending on your processor, it's either:
        mgatglp3.dll
        or
        mgatglk7.dll
just copy and rename the file.

Actually I performed a similar hack and wasn't pleased with the results. The game runs wonderfully in D3D mode once you get it to properly detect your drivers. UT should also detect your processor. You might try the 4.02 patch, then run 'safe mode' to redetect the drivers. Only Quake based games require the TurboGL and there is the installer for that. I've even heard of someone running UT at 1152x864x16 with decent frame rates. Why bother with OpenGL?

Was just trying to test it out.

I know UT is the shits for opengl, and I am running in D3D with an average frame rate of 95

Everything works great just wanted to test it out.
