New TurboGl with G400 and Voodoo2 SLI ?

I have read that if my Voodoo2 SLI are hooked up, I will not be able to run TurboGL.

True enough, I tried it with Quake3 and I get a black screen.

How do I fix the problem ? Any way I can do it without removing my cards ?

BTW, I just got my new G400 DH 32MB, and am very pleased with the visual quality so far.

I'm getting around 29 fps in Q3 (normal openGL) at 1024x768x32 on my o/c 450 Celery on a ABIT BX MB with 196 MB RAM.

Any help on TurboGL will be appreciated

I got it to work by uninstalling the Voodoo 2 drivers :-(

The TurboGL works great though :-)

On my celery 450a, Abit BH6, 16Mb G400 Dualhead I got an almost 50% improvement in Quake 3 Demo fps @ Normal quality.

I had to uninstall my Voodoo2 drivers and remove my cards.

On my o/c 300A at 450, this is what I got in Q3
16-bit tex. 32-bit tex. 16-bit tex
800x600x16 800x600x32 1024x768x16
OpenGL 38.8 33.1
TurboGL 52.9 47.3 40.0

So I would say the best resolution I would use for my system would be 800x600x16 until I can upgrade to an Athlon system.

Can someone please explain to me the madness of leaving in your voodoo2's when you have a g400?? This is got to be the silliest thing I have seen or read.

Well, if you insist. They may be few in number but boy do they speed along, esp. with SLI :-)

Yeah, older 3D games work great for Voodoo2 cards.

As for TurboGL with a Voodoo2 card or any 3D card, no go. Mine kept IPF'ing when I try to use the driver.

There has to be a way to keep both cards happy! =(

you'll still get good results by using teh standard ICD supplied with the drivers if you wish to keep your voodoo 2 in your system...

Which driver is the ICD? What does it stand for anyways?

Are you saying that I can use either driver with both cards installed in my computer? If so, how do I get TurboGL working then?

I have deactivated my Voodoo1 in Control Panel / System and have no problems with the TurboGL. But I haven't yet tried the newest version of it.
