Ever since I bought Q3:A i've been wondering why on certain levels when they load i get spit back to the desktop at 640x480 at full bright.
Its been ****ing annoying.
Anyways...i found that the problem seems to be when i set the texture quality to its highest setting that this happens (on q3dm15 for eg). Putting it on the next level down it doesn't crash (at least not as much). This is in 32bit colour.
I'm using the new TurboGL and the 5.41 drivers...hope this helps anyone haveing the same problem...
