  • Unreal 225f freezes when I hit escape

    Hi,

Decided to play Unreal while I wait for SS2 ( xmas :-) - but whenever I try to back out of the game using escape it freezes. Any ideas ?

    Cheers

    Hi Ian,

DON'T use the 225 patch... It has cause me so much trouble...

The 224 was fine for me, but I got to change the line:

MaxPlayers=64 in the section [Engine.GameInfo] of unreal.ini. (I was getting out of the game after a restore game ;-(

      Hi Angel,

Can I just install the 244 patch over 255, or do I have to uninstall the whole thing ?

      Thanks

In fact 225 wasn't causing the problem - something to do with loading old save-games; started afresh & bingo - no probs.

Andrei - what kind of framerate do you get with the TGL ? I thought D3D was far better ?

        Cheers
