Sorry ACS, didn't mean to tweak you so hard.

Anyway, the reason that nobody has anything particularly constructive to say is twofold:

    1. You bailed on the G400 without much tweaking that we were aware of.

    2. (And this is no excuse really!) This is one of those problems which falls into the "none of us have this problem" category.

The second one is important. I freely admit that it's a lousy excuse, but I've NEVER seen this problem. It's not an obvious thing. It probably ISN'T drivers, it's probably chip memory, or the card, or SOMETHING else, but we don't know what.

*sigh* There are a few problems that we all just kinda shrug our shoulders at and say "Umm... dunno!"

    I would still get screwed

I did,I tried everything.I set my cpu to default and still no change.I tried messing with settings in my bios all the way up to powerdesk settings,no change.I dont understand why a few people just seem to want to find a reason to pick on me because i chose to go with another option for the time being.I hope you find a solution to your problem Yggdrasil,it drove me crazy.I know my PC from the inside out(i built it)so yes, seeing how the G400 is the latest component tells me the problem is within it somewhere.Probably just a driver issue.I will check back and see if Yggdrasil or somebody else finds a solution to this,if so i will pop it back in no biggie. As of now i have 4 video cards i can pop back in my system if i need to(i trade alot of hardware at AGN)G400,V3 3000,ATI Rage 128,V3 3500TV(i hate this card with a passion) and my Ultra thats back in my system now.So whenever there is another driver release for the G400 i will give it another go.
