Any performance settings in the ini file for UT online multiplayer?
i don't know but don't bother with ut's tech support. when i sent them a email about setting up my joystick's remote throttle all i got was a responce that said "we don't support tweaking like that." hello i mean they have joystick support right? they have a z axis command in the user.ini file right should they not at least help set the thing up or at least include some documentation (halflife did) well any way i figured it out my self (how to reverse the forward and backward motion for my throttle and how to adjust the strafe speed to the incresed speed of the throttle. (6 commands had to be manipulated but it all works now.) im nothing if not relentless in my prosuit of gameing pefection. ie (i want it to work now not latter and if it don't throw more money at it maybe it will go awAy

it's times like this that make me think of my fathers last words....
here is a line in the ini file that mentions Game engine cache of similar, by default it is set to 4.
If you have at least 128mb of ram, set this to at least 32 meg.
Also i saw on a site somewhere about enabling a chache setting for the comm ports to smooth out modem play.
It was in the system.ini file and it was something to do with COMxbuffersize=1024 or something like that. Sorry I cant remember more, but i dont take these things in anymore now i have ISDn ;-)
