Well, as far as I know, the TurboGL does not work under Win2K, or if it does, I haven'
t managed to make it work yet... Also, from experience, games run better under Win98 than Win2K, but that's just me personally. Other people might have better results. If you have a different experience with Win2K, please let me know...

How well does the G400 work in win2k? Is there TurboGL support in win2k for that card?

The only I game I saw to run better under Win2k was Ultima IX. That's because Win2k has thousand times better virtual memory management than Win9x... I'd stick to Win98SE for games and Win2k for the rest.

Please explain to me which video card you are using to make these assesments of win2k gaming performance? Because If you are using a g400 then shame on you! Your using a beta OS and beta drivers for comparisions. You can't even try and compare gaming under w2k yet until matrox releases non-beta drivers and you have a copy of w2k RTM!

I using a G400 DH with Windows 2000. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not slagging anything, and yes, I know it's all still in beta I was just making the comment that as things stand now, it's better to use Win98 until Win2K is released and Matrox has supplied us with final drivers. Once that happens, I'll probably dump Win98 like a hot patoto and dive into Win2K, since I find it miles better than Win98 in doing everything else.
