Sure ! ..it will enable T&L hiden function of our G400/G200 bauty...just go a hed..LOL ahh yes & you will get over 200 fps in UT @1024x768x32 zbf 32 +trilinear + bla, bla ,bla...men! dont be silly..

& if you have DX8 it must be some early beta shit , it could harm your system badly...besides there are NO actual games optimized for DX7 & definitively NO for DX8.

Didn't you mean DX7.0b? I've installed this and it brought me decrease in every bench I made! So take DX7 there is no better DX available at the moment!!

There IS a DX8 beta, the reason why one might want to use it is because it's possibly faster than dx7. I heard a while back that dx8 was the version that was going to have roger wilco built in too.. but other stuff said above was true too, could totally mess up your system, and is more than likely slower than your current dx7.
