There are several GeForce users here, who post regularly, and help us compare various aspects of the cards. There are quite a few threads where these issues are discussed rationally and intelligently (as this thread for the most part was until you showed up...ppl discussing pros/cons of the different cards).

You, however show neither intelligence, nor rationality. You came in here and with your first two posts, insulted specific users, and the forum as a whole. If your IQ were any larger than your shoe size, you would have posted something relevant. Told us why you picked the card you did, and why it meets your needs. But no. You started trolling for flames, and act surprised when you get them.

first things first when you enter a forum and badmouth the hardware the forum supports you are attacking the people in that forum expect to get roasted its natural not censored or biased.

nvidia bashing is excepted here for this is not a nvidia forum.nvidia bashing on an nvidia forum would not be acceptable.
do you see the pattern here go to murc to bash nvidia go to nvidia to bash matrox not a hard concept.is it?

finally you would expect the geforce ddr to be faster than the g400max it is after all a new generation video card with several new features(like the ddr ram,gpu,ect)that should
make it a better purchase if you dont already own a max.from what i have seen the geforce is not that much faster at the resolutions most gamers play at.just like with the g400 matrox will let the dust settle see what the competion can reliably produce for the market and introduce a product to annhilate the competition (you know like g400 max did the tnt/2 ultra).
but its really not realistic to compare hardware from different generations.did we ever see any g400 vs g200 debates or v3 3000 vs voodoo 2 12 meg comparisions.

if you dont have a card then the geforce,if you have big money,would be the fastest card on the market.if you already have a max its not worth the money its not that much faster,maybe when t&l is utilized in games that would be a selling point!
