Is there a way to set the gamma value for an individual application like GL Quake? When i run it now it´s way too dark. I know you can increase the gamma setting in the display properties, but that is really awkward. I am looking for something like the "SET SST_GAMMA 2.0" stuff in a batch file I did with my 3dfx voodoo card like 100 years ago.

First of all, I have the same problem. But before I tell you the way I got around it, let me suggest you move on over to Matrox's website and tell them your feelings and that you want that feature in the next driverset.
How did I fix it? Powerstrip has gamma presets including an OpenGL one.. But you have to prevent Powerdesk from loading on startup or it will override Powerstrips ability to alter your display properties.

You can always use IDGamma, made especially for Quake based games:

(I know, it´s an Nvidia page, but as I normally say, we are all playing the same game - literally)
Download and read the installation notes.
Cheers
