Quake 2 & Turbo GL on AMD k6-2

Hi,

I have done a search, and can find nothing relevant to my problem, so here goes....

I installed 5.30 PD and the TurboGL which quickly found my Quake 2 install. Everything seems fine, and the game play beautifully... (haven't benchmarked yet) BUT... I have 2 problems...

1. The game periodically crashes. I didn't have this problem with the standard ICD, and I have a case fan and CPU fan.

2. I am playing a mod called 'The Armageddon Device' at the moment, and the plasma gun weapon in it doesn't show up sometimes, similar to the problem described with the railgun in another post, although I haven't noticed the railgun not working yet.

Can anybody shed some light on this?

I have similar problems. For me, any Quake2 engine game will quit back to desktop after loading a second map. But for me, it happens on every OpenGL driver. I haven't found an answer so far.
